Placerville, Ca 95667 530-644-6201 2006 Chardonnay, El Dorado $18/bottle Aromas of apple, peaches & apricots with upfront tropical flavors of papaya & mango and a hint of caramel. The mid-palate delivers a smooth texture along with a creaminess from barrel aging on the lees. The finish is bright, with honey and key lime notes that carry through to the refreshing, lingering finish. 100% barrel fermented, no malolactic fermentation, aged sur lie. Drinking now to 2010. 2006 Viognier Roussanne, El Dorado - $20/bottle Classic aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and a touch of lemon. The mid-palate layers in subtle hints of honey, apricot, & mineral notes. Enjoy the crisp, bright, mandarin orange finish. Great with salads, Asian dishes, curry, shell fish, grilled halibut, roasted chicken, vegetarian pastas, rich cream sauces, cheeses. Barrel fermented sur lie & aged 6 mo. in French oak. Drinking now – 2008. Only 150 cases produced. 2006 Melange de Sol Blanc, El Dorado (60% Chardonnay, 36% Viognier, 4% Roussanne) $20/bottle Release 3/1/08 Intoxicating aromas of tropical papaya, honeysuckle and ripe fig surround your senses until you give up! The entry into your mouth fills the palate with smooth, lush flavors of creamy lemon meringue and honeyed butterscotch. The finish is long, balanced and refreshing with high notes of minerals and citrus. Aged 18 months in French oak, partial ML, aged 100% sur lie. Fabulous by itself or pair with salads, shrimp pasta, spring vegetable risotto, Asian dishes & grilled fish with mango salsa.

2006 Estate Zinfandel, El Dorado - $20/bottle Ruby red in color, this 100% Estate grown Zinfandel draws you in with aromas of spice, smoke & vanilla. It has a deep concentrated core of ripe raspberry and cocoa on the mid-palate ending with a ripe black-cherry finish that is texurous & long, with bright, smooth tannins. Serve with rack of lamb, spicy vegetarian dishes, red sauces, hearty stews & barbeque. Aged in 100% American oak for 12 months, 30% new. Drinking now through 2014.
2006 Mourvedre, El Dorado - $18/bottle sold out Mourvedre (known as "Mataro" in Portugal & the New World, & "Monastrell" in Spain) drives the blend comprising 80% of the total, while the balance is Estate Petite Sirah and Estate Zinfandel. Perfumed aromas of crushed blackberries with a hint of toasty oak and clove. In the mouth the wine shows off full round flavors of deep, black cherry, spice and a hint of mocha. It finishes bright and lush with a touch of minerality. Pair this with roasted or grilled Spring lamb, rosemary beef kabobs, roasted herb chicken, spicy paella & earthy wild mushroom rosotto. 2006 Petite Cuvee, El Dorado - $20/bottle This is our proprietary red blend of 45% Petite Sirah, 40% Mourvedre, 10% Zinfandel and a splash, 5%, Estate Viognier. Spicy cinnamon and a flash of toasty French oak draws you in for a second, deeper whiff. The spiciness continues on the palate with layers of red cherry, pomegranate, and white pepper. The finish is long and bright. Great with....everything! Drink now or wait for deeper complexity to 2012. 2006 El Dorado Syrah - $20 Bottle new release Opaque, dark purple, with perfumed aromas of spice, sage & toasty oak make this Syrah a "beauty". In the mouth, flavors of blueberries and raspberries meld together seamlessly. Complex, yet very smooth, the concentrated blended flavors of spice & licorice on the long lasting finish whisper, "Check me out in a couple of years"! Aged 12 months in 20% new French oak. Only 218 cases made. Drink now to 2014. 2006 Estate Grenache- $24/bottle Available Summer 2008 See Sacramento Magazine Article 2005 Petite Sirah Syrah, El Dorado - $26 sold out Dark purple with aromas of spice, black pepper & violets. Integrated layers of American oak and vanilla open up to deep, rich, blueberry flavors on the mid-palate. The balanced finish of spicy pepper and firm, yet round, tannins give a glimpse into the longevity of this wine. You'll want to drink some now and lay some down - this wine will age beautifully! Made from 50% Estate grown Petite Sirah and 50% Estate Syrah. Aged 12 months in 50% American oak & 50% French oak. Drink now to 2014. Narrow Gate Gems 2005 CAB SYRAH, ELDORADO - $32bottle Seriously dark garnet in color with opulent aromas of dark cherries and a well integrated overlay of French oak. This is a 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Syrah blend from our estate grown fruit. Black cherry and ripe raspberry flavors explode into a deep, rich, concentrated, lingering finish. Made from 100% Narrow Gate Vineyards' Estate Grown fruit in a very opulent year. This wine will age beautifully, becoming like "liquid velvet" as it matures, and will reward those who age it at least 3 years more. 100% French oak, 20% new. Drink now to 2015. 2005 DUNAMIS Estate - $32 bottle Elegant and refined aromas of clove, smoke, toasty oak & leather that carry over to the palate with an overlay of blackberry and plum fruit. big structure front to back with firm tannins an dgood length. It finishes with a dollop of strawberry. This is our flagship wine made from 100% Estate grown grapes ina a classic Chateauneuf du Pape style blend - 65% Grenache, 31% Syrah & 4% mourvedre. Drink now to 2015. 2006 Chocolate Splash, El Dorado - $25 bottle (500 ml) almost sold out This is Frank’s “special blend” of Port (made from six classic port varietals) infused with 60% dark, bittersweet chocolate and 40% milk chocolate natural essence – what a combination! Yum! Ooh la la!
